Joan on Mustang

Last year when I went to Las Vegas, I went on a 2 hour trail ride out in the desert. It was super COOL! It was a bit different for me in that it was the first time I was on a Western saddle.

I have been taking riding lesson (English style) for about 4 years now. I can Trout good. But, my seat still is not good enough for Cantering. For those of you who are familiar with riding, The first thing you will notice in this picture is that I'm leaning a little to far forward. Not a good position to be in for Cantering.

There are a few reasons why I chose to name my Blog Dreamer's Special Project's. This is one of them. The only way I can own a horse is in my dreams.
